But really, the reason I was inspired to write about NorCal beers was
because of a light lager made by the Sonoma-based Seismic Brewing
Company, which I hadn't heard of until recently; that's surprising
given that it debuted back in 2017 and is owned by Chris Jackson,
son of Barbara Banke and Jess Jackson of Jackson Family Wines.
In any case, the beer, called Tremor California, is made with 100%
California-grown, organic Admiral Malting Pilsner malt and organic
Eureka hops, and it's truly one of the best light lagers to ever cross this
old lady's lips.
